KIA Tigers left-handed veteran pitcher Kim Dae-yoo has been added to the expanded September roster.
KIA will play the second game of a three-game weekend series against SSG at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on Sept. 2.
KIA added left-handed veteran pitcher Kim Dae-yoo to its expanded roster for September. Along with Kim, KIA added pitcher Park Jun-pyo, catcher Han Seung-taek, and infielder Hwang Dae-in to the expanded roster.
Kim spent the 2021-22 season as a member of LG’s starting bullpen. He also appeared in four games in the Fall League postseason with LG.
A left-handed specialist who helped secure wins for his team at LG, Dae-yu has struggled in a KIA uniform this season.
He has allowed a run since his first game in April. It was hoped that he would be able to make an impact in the bullpen as a closer, but that didn’t happen. He was last seen in the first team on May 28 against LG. His first-team performance this season was a 6.92 ERA in 19 games.
After a sluggish start to the season, Kim Dae-yu has shown promise in the second team. In 12 games in the Futures League in August, he had 3 holds, 1 save, and a 0.93 GAA. He’s getting back to his old form.
Dae-yoo joined the first team to help the team as they aim for fall baseball.
Dae-yoo was one of the strongest bullpen arms in the LG, posting a 2.13 ERA in 64 games in 2021 and a 2.27 ERA in 59 games in 2022.
This season, he switched uniforms and has regained his form.
Kim Dae-yu joined the first-team squad with a smile on his face. She warmed up with her teammates and was ready to play.메이저사이트
